Kendall Jenner has been unveiled as the face of Daniel Wellington’s 2017 Classic Petite ladies collection.
The supermodel, entrepreneur, TV and social media star is one of the hottest celebrities on the planet, and is already promoting Daniel Wellington watches to her legion of social media followers.
She is sister to reality television celebrities Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian and has 76.3 million Instagram followers, 21.2 million Twitter followers and 15.6 million Facebook fans.
Ms Jenner is also a fan of Daniel Wellington watches. “I have worn and loved the Daniel Wellington brand for a long time,” says Ms Jenner “The Classic Petite is stylish and modern, and I can wear it with anything. This is an exciting time to be working with Daniel Wellington and I’m so happy to be the face of the new collection.”
Daniel Wellington recently switched distributor to AFH Distribution, which will be encouraging retailers to bump up stocks of the Classic Petite.
Following a trend established by major fashion labels like Burberry, the Classic Petite collection is moving from the catwalk into retail immediately, with the watches going on sale in the UK from April 1, priced at £139.
Classic Petite is a 32mm stainless steel watch with a minimalist look presented in rose gold and silver and with a black or white dial on Milanese mesh bracelets.
“Defined by its contemporary look and sophisticated design, Classic Petite is a must-have staple for every modern icon. We are proud to show our flagship Classic collection in a new light. The new watch lives up to its name in every sense and proves that less really is more,” says Filip Tysander, founder of Daniel Wellington.
The Danish brand says it is delighted to be working with a global superstar like Ms Jenner. “We are thrilled to be working with Kendall for the launch of Petite. She is a modern icon that embodies an attitude that has been central to the design of the new collection. Kendall stands out, inspires and personifies the Classic Petite in an incredible way,” says Ola Melin, public relations manager at Daniel Wellington.
